Nobody sets the price here. Posts carry an amount, never a price. Anyone may accept a post - the first to accept locks the trade, and the two settle money for coins between themselves. When the poster completes the trade with the price they actually settled at, that price is written into the market diary.

Every trade completed here pays a fee to the market pool: 4% of the settled dollar total, split evenly - 2% from the buyer, 2% from the seller. Each side sends its share on Cash App to $Jaysenbrocato with the note JACFEE plus the post id. The fee is the market's money, never the founder's: it lands in the pool and raises the backing behind every coin. Trades made privately, off this board, pay no fee and get no diary record.

The coin's value is set by the market itself: customer demand divided by the total coins mined. Demand is the real dollars in the market pool; coins mined is every coin outside the vault. The pool grows from license sales and renewals, from the 4% trade fee, and from interest the pool dollars actually earn while they sit in savings - interest is credited only when real dollars land, never written in by hand. Demand also pays sellers directly: a buyer who wants coins brings dollars that go to the miner or holder who sells, and that money is generated by demand whether it passes through the pool or not. When demand grows faster than mining, the value rises; when mining outruns demand, it falls. Nobody sets it and nobody can shade it - it is computed from the pool and the chain, in the open. Your wallet's worth is your balance times the value. The board holds no money and no coins. Posts retire after 14 days.
